Naomi Long, Alliance, (Left) becomes the first Party Leader to offer her support for the idea behind Cruiz2.com  Her letter of support follows that of Paula Bradshaw, Health Spokesperson for the party, who said she would like to see the idea "rolled out across Northern Ireland".

The idea behind Cruiz2.com is simple: A local community help promote the website and 'advertising revenues' generated are returned 100% to each community that assist in the promotion of the site so MORE people can get MORE help.  End result: Local communities help promote local clubs, organisations and businesses and local clubs, organisations and businesses help local communities so MORE people get MORE help!

As at 29 May, 2023 over 250 businesses have agreed to promote their goods and services on the website.  The principle of Cruiz2.com is best explained in the children's story 'Stone Soup' where hard working villagers learn that the best way to help themselves is to help each other.  Natural instinct, 'Survival of the fittest' insists that we should look out for ourselves regardless of the consequences for anyone else, but teamwork is the WISDOM of Caring, Sharing and Giving!

Advertising on the website starts at FREE for local clubs, organisations and businesses (conditions apply) and in the interests of safety all links/ads are subject to immediate removal at the request of a 'recognised local authority'.

In 2014, Ballymena Mayor, Audrey Wales MBE was joined by representatives of the five leading political parties in Northern Ireland - DUP, Sinn Fein, UUP, SDLP and Alliance.  Also in the picture is Rosemary Hawthorne a Mental Health professional and representatives of Broughshane and District Community Association.  Thanks to the hard work of the many volunteers, Broughshane regularly win Best Village Awards and are always looking for ways to improve the lives of residents.

Formerly known as Cruiz.com, the website raised a little money for three local charities - Samaritans used the money to purchase materials for a new mobile unit.  Women's Aid used the money to help promote a 'Charity Ball' and raise awareness of their most popular course - 'My Life, My Choice' and Hope Centre, Ballymena, used the money to purchase bottle caps to help prevent Drug Rape!
