Don't just report suicide
Help to...
PREVENT IT

TO: ALL Newspaper Editors - ANY Town / City

Cruiz2.com  presents an opportunity for a newspaper/s (ideally local) to help raise critical new funds for YOUR community.  Will you help me PLEASE ?

Who are my competitors?        I DON'T have any!

Perhaps YOU see me as competition to newspapers - but I'm NOT a newspaper.  With the exception of photographs taken at events to encourage traffic to the site - I do my best to avoid providing information, except where necessary and Cruiz2.com is a promotional website, I don't have 'investigative reporters' and I don't do negativity.

I offer an opportunity for clubs, organisations and businesses to promote their goods and services online in an environment that is as safe as 'reasonably possible'  and provide an opportunity for them to help support those they rely on to buy and use their goods and services.  Mental Illness affects ALL of us - if it doesn't get you directly, it will get you through those you claim to care about, whether it's personal relationships, colleagues at work or the wider community.

If YOU prefer to be a competitor - that's fine with me, but you will have to step into MY arena where the winner isn't the one who can put the most money into their own bank account.  The winner is the one who can put the most money into the bank account of others.  Still want to compete with me?  Sorry - I don't do competition.

In the event that you are trying to make the world a better place for MY children, YOUR children and THEIR children, then we are NOT competitors - we are allies!

I will not be taking any money, personally, from this website.  My only goal is that others don't have to suffer as I did, by making it easier to find the help that is available in 'potentially' every village, every town/city and - as the opportunity arises - every country of the world.

My second goal is to turn 'advertising revenues'  into a new source of funding so more people can get more help - why should I be, a 'lucky one' ?  While I don't, personally, want to take any money from this site, I do intend to build others and perhaps I will benefit financially from them - who knows?  I do, however, understand the need for newspapers to make money to pay for reporters, rent, rates, etc. and would like to make the following offer:

I want you to consider placing ads on certain pages of my website in return for a 'commission' - the rest of the money will go to local communities so more people can get more help.  These are the very people YOU depend on to read and buy your newpaper.  I have a mental illness and I find it extremely difficult to understand why you wouldn't want to do everything 'reasonable' to help prevent suicide in YOUR community.

I suffer greatly due to my illness, but it is those who are supposed to help but don't and those who could help - but won't - that sometimes make life 'almost unbearable'.  Newspapers are ideally placed to assist with the promotion of the website, but you also have an advertising department and 'investigative reporters' who can help ensure money goes where it should and not where it shouldn't.

Should you refuse to offer the help you could... Any funds I am able to return to the community and how those funds are used is 'news'.  Are you going to be the 'local newspaper' that doesn't print local news?

The internet has created a new opportunity for us (local community supporting business, business supporting the local community) to work TOGETHER.  If newspapers want to evolve and fly like a bird instead of going extinct like a dinosaur by the asteroid called 'Internet' - I wouldn't choose a Do Do!

In the event that no newspaper is willing to offer the help that they could, I am offering the same opportuntiy to advertising agencies - any village, any town/city - any country!

You should also know that I am pursuing a path to Dragons Den to ask them for the help that has so far been lacking in Northern Ireland, perhaps they are the answer to my riddle!  Unfortunately, someone is refusing to offer the help they could.  Never mind, if at first you don't succeed - try, try again!  If the lift is broken, take the stairs!

If you are unwilling to offer the help you could, would you please provide me with the reason why not?  I can't fix a problem if I don't know what it is and if - and when - I do get onto Dragons Den, they might ask me for it.
